Mechanical Design

For Assistant Professor’s position Applicant’s working in following areas will be considered.

Design Methodology, Dynamics, CAD, FEM, Impact, Design for Biomedical Applications, Micro Engineering, Controls, Composites, Smart Materials, Mechatronics, Tribology and Controls. People with an exceptional track record in other areas may also be considered. Candidates should be able to teach any of the undergraduate core courses in Mechanical Engineering Design.

Production and Industrial Engineering

Thermal Engineering

The applicants should have demonstrated strong fundamentals pertaining to thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat and mass transfer, combustion and gasification and numerical and experimental techniques, as applicable. In addition, their research interest should relate to one or more of the following application areas:

  • Energy
  • Transportation motive power
  • Micro and nano-scale fluid mechanics and heat transfer
  • Thermal engineering of processes (including technologies for food preservation and thermal engineering of manufacturing processes)
